TRANSFORM

WHERE YOUR FEELINGS MATTER
because you matter

About Transform

We are a registered charity that delivers evidence-based programmes and training to support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in our local communities and the professionals that support them. The foundation of our work is emotional education and all of our activity promotes emotional literacy, emotional resilience and emotional intelligence. We transform lives by helping people to see that they can take control of their reactions by using emotional literacy and by becoming emotionally resilient. We believe that every young person deserves to be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our registered charity number is 1158831

What We Offer

Friendship Love

Transforming Life Chances

transforming life chances for very challenging or vulnerable young people

TLC is a long term intensive support programme for young people aged from 14 to 19 years, delivered in community settings and supported by locally trained volunteer mentors.
It is suitable for young people who are not engaging in education and training and who are identified as being involved with violence, drugs missuse, criminal or sexual exploitation.
Young people are supported to transform their mental health and emotional resilience, make realistic, achievable life plans and take part in social action projects to build their confidence and develop their employability skills.

Breakaway Clubs

Breakaway Clubs

for young people with learning disabilities

Breakaway is a programme that transitions young people with learning disabilities from childhood to adulthood.
Breakaway Clubs run in community venues, schools and colleges and are suitable for young people aged between 14 and 25 years who do not need personal care or one-to-one support.
Each club works around themes chosen by the members and activities include music, dance and drama.
Breakaway Clubs often perform at local events and enjoy trips and mini breaks throughout the year.
