YOUTH WORKER - BEESTON
£13 - £15 per hour minimum 16 hours per week
Working in Beeston, Kimberley and Nottingham City
The role sits within our youth programmes delivery team, playing a key part in supporting vulnerable young people to reach their full potential, whilst making a significant contribution to the development of our youth programmes.
The Hours:
This role is offered on a sessional basis working directly with young people which is often evening or weekend hours. The admin element of the role can be done from home or one of our offices as required.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing and delivering targeted youth projects based out of our project bases, ensuring project milestones and outputs are met or exceeded in line with funding agreements.
Keeping accurate records, monitoring and evaluating our targeted youth projects, providing reports to the Head of Programmes, Board of Trustees and key funders as required.
Collaborating with other youth workers, trainers and volunteers enabling the delivery of high-quality youth work programmes Working closely with key partners (e.g. police, social care, community stakeholders) to support the recruitment of young people and the effective delivery of provision.
Supporting young people by modelling positive behaviours and engaging with them through Transform’s wellbeing and emotional resilience curriculum during programme sessions or home visits.
Assisting young people in identifying progression opportunities and providing on-going transition support Liaising with multi-agency key workers of young people participating in our projects, building strong relationships to support the development of service-users.
Participate in staff meetings, project specific planning or progress meetings, training, development and any other special events such as showcases, conferences or fundraising events.
Represent the organisation and individual projects at networks and community meetings, council meetings, job fairs, local events and other promotional opportunities.
Other considerations:
We will expect you to be open to taking part in training and continuing professional development sessions.

BREAKAWAY CO-ORDINATOR
The salary for this role is £26,341per year pro rata for 20 hours per week.

Transform Training is seeking an exceptional person with the skills and experience to become our next dedicated project co-ordinator for the Breakaway Clubs, a participatory arts project for young people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire aged from 14 - 25.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people who face unique challenges.
As the project co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning, socialisation, and independence through music, drama and the arts. You'll work directly with the young people, assisted by one of our sessional youth arts workers and team of volunteers to ensure that each young person receives the support and guidance they need to successfully take part in club sessions, workshops, trips and performances.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with learning disabilities and be passionate about making a positive impact in their lives. You'll have excellent organisational skills, be able to work independently, and have a flexible approach to work. Some experience in the arts would be a distinct advantage.
This is a part-time position, with 20 hours per week to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the job.
